A late-breaking abstract is a research study in progress that reveals new and important findings that did not become available prior to the general abstract submission deadline. In the past, we have reserved Spotlight on Late Breaking Clinical Research sessions for major randomized trials and registries, but we recognize that there are many clinically relevant studies that could not be submitted by the general deadline, and therefore, we offer the opportunity for researchers to present late-breaking abstracts of their data at Neuroscience 2025.

Late-breaking abstracts may be presented as posters or demos and will be placed in a dedicated area of the poster floor. If a researcher is accepted to present a late-breaking abstract, they will be required to attend Neuroscience 2025 in person or purchase a virtual-only registration. A single individual may appear as the presenting author on no more than one late-breaking abstract. Additionally, material that is presented at the meeting must be substantively identical to the information included in the abstract. All aspects of an abstract, including the title, authors, and scientific content, must comply with guiding principles for late-breaking abstracts.
